What is a CRA PIN, and why do you need one?

Your National Business ID

A CRA PIN is a unique identifier issued by CROS (Computerised Registration of Occupational Services) — the T&T government’s registry for individuals and businesses.

Legally Required

All sole traders, partnerships, and LLCs registered in Trinidad & Tobago require the primary owner or director to hold a valid CRA PIN. No PIN, no registration.

Get It Once, Keep It Forever

Your CRA PIN is a permanent personal identifier. Once issued, it applies to every business registration you ever make — current and future. It does not expire.
