A registered firm. Not a broker.

Scorpius F.A.R.M.S. is a registered accounting and finance professional services firm in Trinidad & Tobago. When we perform due diligence, it is backed by professional accountability — not just a checklist.

Professional Accountability

We are a registered firm, not an informal agent. Our work carries professional liability, which means we are accountable for the quality of our analysis and advice.

Finance-First Due Diligence

Most brokers identify assets. We assess them financially. Our background in accounting, risk management, and finance means we find what others miss.

Local Knowledge. Caribbean Context.

Transactions in T&T have unique legal, regulatory, and cultural dynamics. We operate in this environment every day — no learning curve, no missteps.

Frequently Asked

We work across four main categories: commercial and residential real estate, vehicle fleets, investment portfolios, and other high-value assets such as equipment, licences, or going-concern businesses. If the asset has value and can be transacted, we can help structure the deal.
Due diligence is a structured review of the asset before purchase. For property this includes title searches, valuation, encumbrances, and planning status. For businesses it includes financial statement review, liability assessment, and operational review. We prepare a due diligence report so you know exactly what you are buying.
Yes. We work on both sides of a transaction. For sellers we provide valuation, prepare an information memorandum, identify qualified buyers, and manage the negotiation process. For businesses specifically, you may also list on Biz4Sale for wider market exposure.
It depends on the asset class and complexity. A straightforward vehicle or equipment acquisition can close in 1-2 weeks. Commercial property typically takes 4-8 weeks including title search and financing. A business acquisition can take 2-4 months. We provide a timeline estimate at the outset of every engagement.
We do not provide financing directly, but we can assist with structuring your financing approach — whether that means preparing the documentation a bank requires, connecting you with relevant lending institutions in T&T, or structuring a vendor-financing arrangement with the seller.
Fees are agreed upfront and depend on the scope of the engagement. For advisory and due diligence, we charge a fixed professional fee. For brokerage (where we facilitate the transaction), a success fee based on the transaction value applies. We will always provide a clear fee proposal before work begins — no surprises.
